2 Hour Camp Times: 2:30-4:30pm (Times may be flexible.) Minimum, 2 students, Maximum 8.

2025 Dates: 9/23, 9/24, 10/2, 10/7, 10/8, 10/13-17, 10/20, 11/4, 11/11, 11/24-28 (off 27), 12/22-31 (off 25)

2026 Dates: 1/2, 1/5, 1/19 (MLK JR. DAY),  2/16 (PRES. DAY), (M-F) 2/17-20 (WINTER BREAK), (M-F) 3/23-4/3 (SPRING BREAK)

Description

Learn to draw realism with professional drawing tools and loads of fun!   Sprinkled with contemporary, multicultural & modern artists + inspirational projects, each week is gonna fly! (Limited Spaces. Register Early)  Ages 9-15.

Our studio is their studio: Children become master of their worlds through creating with any materials in our studio.

Learn the basics and more:

Painting, Building and Drawing Camp- w. accelerated Drawing classes: Objects & Architecture Landscapes, Nature, Portraits

An upper level drawing curriculum, age-appropriated, to learn to SEE & Draw realism with confidence & skill with fun daily drawing warm-ups, subject drawing, “Art Tricks” & interesting S.T.E.A.M.- based “Brain” challenges along the way.

Diverse materials are our forte!  Charcoals, pencils, pastels, acrylic markers, specialty markers, paints, glass paints, metal leaf and gold foil... even stop motion animation!

Courtyards are used for sketching and outdoor art (weather permitting.) Students also enjoy daily easel painting, group murals, free-choice art stations, story telling + inspiring art processes to tantalize and engage every age and skill level.

Learn advanced art techniques:   Once put into action, they become habit.  Warm-up practices in abstraction, followed by application to realism each class.  Students learn scale, perspective, composition & values, while making their own choices on subjects. Curriculum is tailored to participants’ interests and levels.

Each summer there are new artists and museum exhibitions to explore!  Summer camps are for longer art-making, larger-scale projects and diverse classes each week…Culminating in a wrap-up Friday museum art-making tour to see the artists discussed throughout the week, right here in the Big Apple. Register for any one of our weeks of camps; Each week is different & siblings are welcome (and receive a sibling discount!)
