In celebration of Columbus Day, our Art Adventurers used a myriad of materials from fabrics and ropes to stars and anchors to create a mixed media collage of a frigate. What is a frigate? It is a ship with many sails built for speed and maneuverability. We learned the technique of collaging while also gaining an understanding of drawing value through shading with various pencils and blending tools.
