This week we noticed many fears alleviated and many challenges overcome

Once in the consistency of the classroom, and having formed trust and boundaries with our young students, we were all set for the chaos of
“Action” Jackson Splatter-Painting
during our Art, Lunch and French classes (Rendezvous) and our 1 hour Art Adventures classes.
In our first day, we are settled in with new friends, a new environment and a new outlook on painting!

Our finale to les Printemps 2019 was at the Metropolitan Museum of Art! We took one last art adventure exploring Modern, Contemporary & Fashion Art!
Highlighted exhibits included Epic Abstraction & Camp: Notes on Fashion
Epic Abstraction with Louise Nevelson’s monochromatic installation art exploring overlapping lines and shapes with Ages 2-4
Epic Abstraction with Jackson Pollock’s Drip Paintings exploring abstract expressionism, material use, balance and composition with Ages 6-9

Our ART took to new heights and soared this 2017-2018 school year with the grande finale of Chagall inspired Stained Glass Kite-making at Central Park & Jackson Pollock Pants!
