This weekend (October 6th and 7th) join the Tenth Annual Open House New York Weekend for talks, tours, performances, and projects that highlight architecture and design in NYC. Covering all five boroughs, visitors will have access to great programming in hundreds of institutions, private residencies, gardens, museums, artist studios, and historic houses.
There are a lot great family events to enjoy. Our favorites are the treasure hunt with the Park Avenue Armory Explorers, Organic Architecture at the Japan Society, and the Children Museum of Art’s Skyscraper Workshop.
There are also a lot of tours to explore the architecture and design of the city. We are excited about the MTA Arts of Transit Tour, the Gowanus Canal “Super Fun” Site Canoe Tour, and the New York City Photo Safari.
So much to do and only two days to do it!
