Meet Wendy at MoMA PS1 in Long Island City, Queens! Winner of the 2012 Young Architect’s Program, Wendy was designed by HWKN (Matthias Hollwich and Marc Kushner.) Wendy is constructed from nylon fabric treated with titania nanoparticle spray, and during this summer, she will have produced the clean air equivalent of taking 260 cars off of the road. Rising out of PS1’s courtyard with spurts of cool air and sprays of mist, she is sight that should not be missed!
Wendy will be on view through September 8th at PS1 (just one stop from Manhattan on the E and M trains!)
