Wednesdays: 1.5 Hour | 4-5:30 PM | Ages 5-12’s | Classes begin 9/24! (A 1 Hour class may be available upon request for younger students ages 5-7 from 4-5pm.)

We know there are a lot of activities for your children and are excited to make Art Adventures, a sophisticated and welcoming arts enrichment league, on the top of your list! All CCA classes focus on social & child development and experimentation in a team-building, inclusive environment. New to Art Adventures? Now in our 24th year, CCA programs offer myriad art material exploration, artistic development, and have between 2:1-3:1 student-teacher ratio combining a passion for art-making with famous artists, Modern, Multicultural and Contemporary art and current exhibits.

We use of a wide variety of media and techniques to demystify art, ignite creativity and to experiment with a variety of tools: Pencils, charcoal, pastels, paints, clay, wood, plaster, wire, glass, papier-mâché, magnets, fabric, 3D dioramas, recyclables, stop-motion animation, animé, portraits and more!
Museums and galleries around the world provide us with ample ideas from which to create, keeping our curriculum current with the art world of today. Here are some favorites:
Magnetic sculpture, Plaster hand casting, Pollock in the park, Wayne Thiebaud and Claes Oldenburg pop-art food sculpture, Louise Nevelson and Giacometti sculptures, Calder mobiles, stabiles and circuses, Lichtenstein patterns, Keith Haring transparencies, Dali clocks, African masks, cloths and mud painting, Batiking, Encaustics, Egyptian art, Japanese fish prints, Chinese calligraphy, storytelling, World Arts and so much more… mostly because processes are child-directed and reflect the museums we visit!
More advanced students are introduced to more advanced technique and art vocabulary related to elevated media and professional artist tools, such as specialty pencils, blending tools, inks, drawing, printing & sculpting tools.
