Overview:  Daily easel painting, 1 main project, free-choice dry art stations, sketchbook drawing games and techniques as well as collaborative mural-building.  Along the way, French is always offered in our programs, exploring colors, numbers and simple phrases pertaining to the Art process of the day.

Projects: Join us for diverse materials and lots of hands-on art, including (Week 1) character-making (with plaster, fabric, wire, mask-making and more.) Plus, create a scene or set, culminating in a small performance on Friday.  Introducing Shostakovich’s ’The NOSE’- a Russian farce fairy-tale!  Week 2 will delve into mixed media, famous artists and/or multicultural arts.

Even Lunch is ART!  Campers enjoy a unique “pique-nique” style lunch, allowing for the added opportunity to discover artists, learn artists’ stories & discover cultures while exploring French and art vocabulary… it’s fun!  (*Children bring their own (nut-free) lunches.)

Class size is limited to 10 children – So don’t wait!  2-3 teachers attend each day to support your child in confidently creating with freedom and new art skills.
