Dear Parents,
I am currently training to compete in the St. Anthony’s Triathlon on April 27th in St. Petersburg, Florida. This is an Olympic distance event and the race consists of a 1.5K (.92) mile swim, a 40K (26.4 mile) bike ride, and a 10K (6.2 mile) run. I am training as a part of “Team in Training,” an organization that trains people for endurance events to help raise money for the Cancer research through the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. In addition to training, every member of the team has pledged to raise money for this cause.
